Félix Solís Avantis becomes the first winery group certified with AgroCovid 19 for its preventive measures against COVID 19
All of the group's six wineries, under the branding of Félix Solís and Pagos del Rey have obtained this prestigious certification from the Hispanic Certification Society, after an external audit that has verified the maximum preventive measures against coronavirus
This certification is added to other commitments of the group in the face of the pandemic such as the donation of masks and its Hospitality Support Plan
Félix Solís Avantis has obtained the AgroCovid 19 certificate, granted by the Sociedad Hispana de Certificación, S.A. (SOHISCERT), a certification body for agri-food activities and a leader in the sector. With this distinction, Félix Solís becomes the first winery group in Spain to obtain this Agrosanitary Protocol certification.
This certification is granted after passing an external audit that has guaranteed that Félix Solís Avantis provides all its workers, grape suppliers and visitors with the highest security measures against the virus. All the group's wineries and brands have received it, both from Félix Solis S.L. (Valdepeñas and La Puebla de Almoradiel) and the four Pagos del Rey S.L. sites (Rueda, Olmedillo de Roa, Fuenmayor and Morales de Toro). The validity period of the certification covers until December 31, 2021.
With this external certification, Félix Solís reiterates its clear message of commitment to safety, social and business responsibility, and the most rigorous compliance with current legislation. It should be noted that the group's wineries continued their activity normally even at the peak of the pandemic, as they were part of the market supply chain of food and beverage production. For this, a rigorous Protocol of Prevention and Labour Measures was developed that would allow the activity to continue safely.
These measures of social distance, disinfection, hygienic controls and body temperature monitoring apply to both workers and external visitors, carriers, loading docks and reception of materials. Training plans, reorganization measures and contingency plans were also developed to anticipate stockpiling of merchandise and avoid service problems.
In addition to occupational safety measures, Félix Solís has implemented an extensive social policy against the coronavirus. This policy has included the donation of 500,000 masks to the public health system at the beginning of the pandemic, when there was a total shortage, taking advantage of relationships with distributors of the international delegation of Félix Solís in China. Also a GlobalHospitality Support Plan that included the delivery of wines at zero cost to bars and restaurants throughout the national geography, specifically 50,000 bottles, to help the reopening of establishments after the impact of their closure due to the crisis sanitary.
For President and CEO Félix Solís Yañez, “having this certification is a declaration of intentions, which shows our responsibility and the importance we give to the situation we are experiencing. In addition, it is a competitive advantage since we are generating tranquility and trust both internally, to our workers, and externally with regard to customers and suppliers ”.
